Understand the philosophy, concepts, and benefits of a stand-alone or integrated management system
Explain the purpose, intent and requirements of ISO 9001:2008; ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007
Conduct a Gap Analysis of their organization's current status and develop a project plan to achieve 3rd party certification/registration to ISO 9001:2008; ISO 14001:2004, or OHSAS 18001:2007, if desired
Understand the benefits and importance of gaining top management leadership; the process for aligning the organization structure and implementing a behaviour based stand-alone or integrated management system
Develop a stand-alone or integrated documented management system
Develop a contingency plan for the stand-alone or integrated management system
Implement and establish suitable and effective operational controls for a stand-alone or integrated management system
Establish and conduct an effective and efficient performance evaluation of your stand-alone or integrated management system
Establish a system and culture of improvement
Conduct effective management reviews
Develop a stand-alone or integrated management system and seek 3rd party certification/ registration

Course Structure

The Kelmac Group® CSI 9 day program consists of three 3 day blocks of on-site training over a 6 month time period followed by a series of written and project based presentations/evaluations. The unique feature of the Kelmac Group® CSI program is that successful completion of this course is only achieved on completion of a series of training and project based continuous assessments, and project based oral presentations.

To complete the programme each delegate needs to complete all modules. This involves a minimum of approximately 400 hours private study/project work, excluding workshop days. Delegates are provided with a full set of course notes.
